One day we were out scouting for a location to take some ghost town photography images and stumbled across this great abandon building in the middle of a field. Because it was in the middle of an area that was uninhabited and unmarked, we felt is was safe to photograph this building. We have been to places that had notices posted that there is no trespassing or that arrangements needed to be acquired before entering. So I always recommend you follow any posted signage to avoid being prosecuted for breaking the law. Plus if you disobey they rules of the owner you will most likely not be allowed to return.

I live in the southwest and these scenes are pretty common, but if you only see them while traveling I recommend you check the details before making the trip. I fell victim to a very long road trip that had a disappointing ending just this spring. We started out in Yosemite Nat Park and wanted to visit Bodie, CA. a very popular ghost town just to the east of Yosemite. The Tioga Pass was closed so for us to get to Bodie I had to drive 300mi up and around to get to Bodie. To my surprise Bodie was not open to the public because of snow. I had even been on the website to view some details about the location, but I never thought it would be closed at any time. So before you set out for a destination I recommend you check that the place you wish to visit will be open and the path to get there is also open.
